Jason Williams Blog: Running Through the Mud

What up! Last week, on Friday, the Ohio Dominican cross country teams participated in the All Ohio Championship. The field included schools like Akron, Cincinnati, Ohio University and more.

The conditions for the race were tough, with a temperature hovering around 50 degrees with some sideways rain. The varsity men’s race ran through wind, rain, and mud as we had a solid performance against some stiff competition.

From these conditions came a new nickname for a men's cross country runner named Ethan Miller. Ethan cannot handle any temperatures under 60 degrees, so he is now known as the Iceman. If you see him around campus, give him a shout out. After running in such a tough race, our cross country team has now been labeled as the toughest team on campus, no questions asked, with the women's softball team coming in at a close second.

So if you want to be kept up to date on all things Panther cross country (which we all know you do), stay tuned to the blog!

Jason Williams is a freshman from Powell, Ohio. He and the Panthers will be in action next on Oct. 14 at the Wilmington Fall Classic, hosted by Wilmington College.
