Scott Miles is entering his second year as the sports information director at Ohio Dominican University.

Miles, a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), helped develop and launch www.ohiodominicanpanthers.com in December, 2010 and also started and co-hosted the weekly "Panther Spotlight" coaches shows.

Miles graduated from nearby Capital University in December, 2008, with a degree in English-Professional Writing and worked as a student assistant in the sports information office, running the department on an interim basis in the summer of 2008.

The Solon, Ohio native interned with the Ohio High School Athletic Association from 2008-09 and spent a year as the athletic media relations intern with the University of Toledo, serving as the primary media contact for seven varsity teams while assisting with coverage of the football, men’s and women’s basketball, soccer and baseball teams.

Outside of his work in sports information, Miles spent two summers as an intern with the Lake County Captains, a minor league affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, and called baseball games for the Delaware Cows of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He also announced football, volleyball, basketball and baseball games for Capital and was the sports editor of the campus newspaper.
