COLUMBUS, Ohio – Former Ohio Dominican pitcher Ryan Robowski has been invited to the Detroit Tigers' major league camp this spring, the team announced today.
Robowski, a left-handed reliever, pitched in Triple-A for Detroit affiliate Toledo in 2012, appearing in seven contests and finishing with a 4.38 ERA. At Double-A Erie last season, Robowski went 1-1 with a 3.32 ERA in 43.1 innings.
In four seasons of minor league baseball, Robowski has compiled an 8-12 record with 12 saves and a 3.96 ERA.
The 24-year old Robowski pitched three seasons for the Panthers, compiling a 15-5 record with 13 saves and a 3.22 ERA in 134.1 innings pitched. He struck out 144 batters while only allowing two home runs.
