Mike Antonoplos is entering his second season with the Panthers after spending seven seasons with the University of Pittsburgh football team. Antonoplos’ primary duties will be football operations and recruiting while also assisting with the defense.

During his time at Pitt, Antonoplos accumulated many recruiting accomplishments, including two NCAA Top 10 recruiting classes, four NCAA Top 15 recruiting classes and the top recruiting class in the Big East for five consecutive seasons (2005-10). In 2005 and 2006, the Panthers posted the best two recruiting classes in the last 30 years of Pitt football, and in 2008 and 2009 he helped Pitt to the most wins in a two year time span since 1982-83.

In 2004, Antonoplos became a graduate assistant for the Panthers under legendary football coach Walt Harris. In 2005, he was named assistant recruiting coordinator and in 2008 he was also given the responsibility of assistant director of football operations.                                  

Antonoplos is a local product, having graduate from Dublin Coffman High School located in Dublin, Ohio. Antonoplos received his bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001.
