Rob Harley enters his second season in the coaching ranks as he will again work with ODU’s special teams and linebackers this season.
Born and raised in Chicago, Harley was a member of Ohio State’s 2002 National Championship team. He was a three-year letterwinner at strong safety for the Buckeyes, who went 50-13 with two Big Ten Championships and the national championship during his playing days.
Harley previously served as a college football analyst for “Football Fever” on ABC 6 in Columbus and also worked as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network. His great-great uncle was Ohio State legend Chic Harley, OSU’s first three-time All-American and to whom Ohio Stadium is nicknamed “The House That Harley Built.”
