Cris Reisert enters his fourth season with the Panthers’ coaching staff and his second year coaching the wide receivers.

Reisert became the face of the ODU football team early on in his career when he won the starting quarterback position in his freshman season. He then led the Panthers to their first conference title and Football Championship Series appearance in 2007 while setting nearly every offensive record in NAIA, MSFA and school history.

In his four years at Ohio Dominican, Reisert played in 43 games for the Panthers, compiling a record of 29-14. Reisert set nearly every conference record for passing offense, including throwing for 13,338 yards and 120 touchdowns. Reisert was a 10-time Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Offensive Player of the Week and selected to the First Team three of his four seasons at ODU. In his freshman season he was named to the Honorable Mention Team.

Reisert was named the 2007 MSFA Offensive Player of the Year and holds 10 national records. The two-time AFCA All-American holds the career record with 1,710 pass attempts and 1,149 completions at the conference and national level and was a five-time NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week.

Arguably the most prolific passer in MSFA and NAIA history, Reisert came to ODU from Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
