Title: Inside Linebackers

Jack Ruetty begins his second season on the staff at Ohio Dominican as the inside linebackers coach.

Ruetty comes to ODU after spending six years at nearby Capital University. In 2008, he coached the Gene Slaughter Award winner, which is given annually to the top linebacker in the OAC, and also coached two more All-OAC selections in 2009.

Ruetty spent 29 years as an assistant coach at Marysville, Dublin Coffman and Dublin Scioto High Schools, and he taught algebra, geometry and computer applications at Marysville. During his time at Marysville, Ruetty coached Chase Blackburn, a current member of the New York Giants who helped the team to a victory in Super Bowl XLII.

Ruetty graduated from Muskingum College in 1976, where he played football and was a teammate of ODU offensive line coach Scott McIntire.
