COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's basketball team has announced their 2019-20 schedule which features 12 home games in Alumni Hall, 13 games on the road and three games at neutral sites.
The Panthers are coming off a 17-11 record where they tied the most regular season wins in their Division II era and also had their most league wins since joining Division II.
The Panthers open their season on the road battling Wayne State (Mich.) on Friday, November 8 before their home-opener with Ashland on Sunday, November 10. The Panthers then travel to Pitt-Johnstown before hosting Kentucky State the next week.
ODU then heads to the Don Callan Classic where they will play Indianapolis and Grand Valley State on Friday, November 22 and 23 at Cedarville before heading to the Thanksgiving Classic hosted by Missouri-St. Louis where they play the hosts and Maryville on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 26 and 27, respectively.
The Panthers then head into December where they play five games including the Great Midwest Athletic Conference opener at Kentucky Wesleyan December 5. ODU travels to Trevecca on Saturday before coming home to host Malone on Saturday, December 14 and Walsh on Monday, December 16.
The second to last non-conference contest features the Panthers traveling to West Liberty St. on December 21.
January is full of conference games for the Panthers beginning at Cedarville and at Alderson Broaddus before hosting Hillsdale on Saturday, January 11. ODU then travels to Lake Erie on the 16 and comes back to Alumni Hall for contests with Cedarville and Ohio Valley. January ends and February begins with a home-and-home with Tiffin with the previous coming on the road.
ODU begins February with three straight home games. After Tiffin, Lake Erie travels to Sunbury Road and the final non-conference game of the season takes place in Alumni Hall when ODU takes on Wright St.-Lake on Saturday, February 8. Three straight road contests await after the three home games as ODU travels to Findlay, Hillsdale and Malone between Thursday, February 13 and 20. The Panthers finish their regular season at home hosting Alderson Broaddus and Trevecca Nazarene Saturday the 22 and 29, respectively.
The G-MAC postseason begins Tuesday, March 3 and concludes with the championship on March 7 at the sit of the number one seed.
