Brandon White enters his second season at Ohio Dominican as an assistant coach on Artie Taylor's staff.
White is accustomed to success, as he comes from the all-time winningest program in Division III basketball. He helped lead the Wittenberg University Tigers to a 16-10 record in the 2007-08 season while starting in all 26 contests and being named team captain. In the 2006-07 season, White was an important contributor towards the team's 22-5 mark and their run to the conference tournament semifinals. In 2005-06, White was a member of Wittenberg's Division III National Runner-up team who finished the season with a record of 30-4.
While at Wittenberg, White joined the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a member of the Athletes for Christ campus organization. During the offseason, he helped coached AAU U15 and U16 boys basketball for Dayton Metro.
Prior to attending Wittenberg, White attended Division II
Clarion (Pa.) University, where he was a preferred walk-on and
redshirt his freshman year.
White graduated from nearby Bexley High School where he earned the
honors of being a two-time captain, three-year letterwinner,
all-district honorable mention, first team all league, two-time
second team all league and a Carlton Smith Award winner. During his
tenure, he helped the Lions win a pair of league championships and
a trip to the regional semifinals in 2003.
White is currently enrolled in Ashland University's Master of Business Administration program and is expecting to graduate with his MBA in May of 2011. He also works for Nationwide Insurance and resides in Columbus.
