Longtime high school basketball and football coach David Grubbs enters his first season as a member of the ODU coaching staff.

Grubbs’s 25-year coaching career has spanned from Indian Lake High School, West Liberty Salem High School, Bellefontaine High School and Dublin Coffman High School. Grubbs has also assisted at college camps with legendary coaches Ron Neikamp and Bill Brown and coached AAU basketball for 10 seasons.

A native of Bellefontaine, Grubbs currently teaches in the Hilliard school district. He and his wife, Teresa, have three children: Jeffrey, Jeremy and Taylor.
