TIFFIN, Ohio — Ohio Dominican's men's golf team wrapped up competition in the Kyle Ryman Memorial Tournament on Sunday afternoon.
The Panthers finished the three-round tournament with a total score of 953 (319-316-18), and were led by junior Drew Wayman (Wapakoneta, Ohio), who posted a career-low 54-hole score of 225 (73-73-79) to place in a tie for 37th out of 107 competitors. Wayman posted season-low rounds of 73 in the first and second frames of the tournament while also finishing in a tie for sixth in Par 5 scoring average at 4.67 (-4). Wayman led the Panthers in pars (33) and birdies (seven) for the tournament.
Freshman Alex Heban (Toledo, Ohio) established a career-low round score of 79 in round three, while freshman Nathan Viverette (Cincinnati, Ohio) shot an 80 in rounds one and two of his first tournament as a Panther.
Ohio Dominican will be back in competition on Sunday, Octboer 8 when it plays in the OVU Highlands Cup Challenge at Marietta Country Club.
