LEXINGTON, Kentucky – Ohio Dominican's men's golf team finished in a tie for 11th place with Bellarmine shooting 307 on day two to combine for a 600 at the Findlay Spring Invitational this week at the UK University Club.
Grand Valley State won the event shooting 574 to finish -2 while Trevecca Nazarene finished one shot back at -1.
Freshman Robert Holden (Hertfordshire, England) led the way for the Panthers as he backed up his 72 on Monday with a 75 on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 22nd.
Fellow freshman Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio) improved by four shots on day two as he posted a 78 on Monday followed up with a 74 Tuesday to finish tied for 52nd. Matching Herman's overall score was sophomore Alex Heban (Toledo, Ohio) as he shot 79 on day two after shooting 73 day one.
Competing as an individual was freshman Dalton Crowley (Nashport, Ohio) who shot 76 on Monday and followed that with an 80 on Tuesday to finish tied for 89th.
The men's golf team is back on the links Friday, April 12 as they host the Bill Blazer Memorial Tournament at Cumberland Trail.
