Barnes, Kasprzak Earn OCSA Division II All-Ohio Honors For Men's Soccer

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Dominican junior forwards Jonathan Barnes (Winter Haven, Florida) and Ryan Kasprzak (Hilliard, Ohio) have been named to the 2017 Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) Division II All-Ohio squad.

Barnes and Kasprzak each led ODUMS in goals scored with eight on the season and combined to start in 33 matches for the Panthers this season. The two forwards accounted for 16 of the Panthers' 31 goals in 2017 and combined for 38 points.

Barnes was in his first season at Ohio Dominican after scoring 18 goals and dishing out 11 assists in two years at Finlandia. He recorded a shot percentage this season of .222 and a shot on goal percentage of .567.

With 24 career goals, Kasprzak currently sits in a tie for sixth place all-time in ODUMS history for goals scored in a career and ranks in a tie for fifth in career points tallied at ODU with 57.

Ohio Dominican earned its first trip to the postseason since the 2013 season this year and notched a six-match winning streak in the month of October, its longest string of victories since the 2007 season.
