About Ohio Dominican
The Panthers come into the week with a 5-4 overall record and a 4-2 conference record. The Panthers had a pair of comeback wins a week ago as they overcame 2-0 deficits in each game with Findlay and Tiffin.
In the match-up with Findlay, ODU scored three goals in five minutes late in the second half to take a 3-2 lead. Demarco Andrews (Kingston, Jamaica) got the scoring started with a penalty kick to cut the Oiler lead down to 2-1 and just three minutes later Amadou Mamadou (Columbus, Ohio) knotted the game at 2-2 with each scoring their first goal of their careers.
To take the lead, Jaxson Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) found the back of the net to take a 3-2 lead but Findlay knotted the game to take it to overtime.
Senior Jonathan Barnes (Winter Haven, Fla.) netted the game-winner in the 93rd minute to complete the Panther comeback.
In the Tiffin match-up ODU found themselves down 2-0 once again after 30 minutes and the comeback was on.
Tyler Arnold (Westerville, Ohio) got the scoring started for the Panthers to cut the deficit to 2-1 before the half.
After a Tiffin red card, Zach Ziolo (Dublin, Ohio) used the man-up advantage to knot the game at 2-2 where both teams would be after 90 minutes.
With a scoreless first overtime, both teams went to the second overtime still tied at 2-2 before Carter Patchett's (Dublin, Ohio) laser from 30 yards found the lower left of the net to send the Panthers into a frenzy.
