Men's Soccer Stays on Road For Pair of G-MAC Contests

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican's men's soccer team stays on the road to play Kentucky Wesleyan on Thursday before traveling to Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday. 

The match-up with Kentucky Wesleyan is set to kickoff at 5 p.m. while the game with Trevecca is set for 3:30 p.m. CT.

About Ohio Dominican

The Panthers are coming off a tie and a loss a week ago where they tied Alderson Broaddus 1-1 before dropping a road contest against Davis & Elkins 4-1. 

In the match-up with Alderson Broaddus, with the team down 1-0, senior Ryan Kasprzak (Hilliard, Ohio) notched his fifth goal of the year on an assist from Tyler Arnold (Westerville, Ohio)

Senior Jonathan Barnes (Winter Haven, Fla.) pushed his team lead in goals to eight with his goal in the loss to D&E.

The Panther defense is led by senior goalkeeper Alec Mathew (Pataskala, Ohio) who has started 11 games with 35 saves while allowing 20 goals.

ODU has a 3-3 record on the road this year and have a 4-1 at home this year against Trevecca.

About Kentucky Wesleyan

KWC is coming into the week with a 1-12-1 record overall and 0-10-1 in the conference.

They are coming off a pair of losses on the road at Findlay and Lake Erie. 

Julian Gonzalez and Austin Moore lead the KWC offense with two goals apiece. 

The defense is led by Lucas Daunhauer who has played 13 games with 86 saves and allowing 35 goals. 

About Trevecca Nazarene

Trevecca is coming into the week with a 7-5-1 overall record and a 6-5 record in the G-MAC. 

Trevecca has a 4-1-1 record at home so far this season. 

The Trojans are coming off the Saturday off and a 2-0 loss at Lake Erie last Thursday.

Ethan Keogh who has eight goals and Nicolas Reinhard wih seven, lead the Trojan offense while the defense is led by goalkeeper Tyler Delgado who has played 12 games with 47 saves while allowing 24 goals.

Before ODU heads to Nashville, the TNU will host Cedarville on Thursday.
