Brent Chase begins his sixth season at Ohio Dominican University
as an assistant men's soccer coach. Chase's knowledge and
experiences at a number of levels continue to be an asset to an
already superb coaching staff at ODU.
Chase, a native of Westerville, Ohio, graduated in 1998 from
Westerville North High School. After excelling on the soccer field
for the Warriors, he went on to play college soccer at Columbus
State Community College. While at CSCC, Chase helped lead the
Cougars to a conference championship and regional runner-up finish
in 2000. He was named First Team All-Region as a goalkeeper and was
the Nike National Goalkeeper of the Year.
He went on to finish his degree from The Ohio State University in
2005 in sociology while coaching soccer at Bishop Watterson High
School. Chase was a member of the coaching staff for five years at
Watterson as well as having an instrumental role in the Olympic
Development Program and Crew Juniors youth soccer programs in
central Ohio.
Chase is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of
America (NSCAA) and holds an Advanced National Diploma and Advanced
National Goalkeeping Diploma.
Chase currently works for Heartland Bank. He and his wife Rachel,
daughter Tatum, and son Declan reside in New Albany.
