AJ Mueller, a 2011 Ohio Dominican graduate and three-year member of the Panthers men’s soccer team, will continue his presence on the field in the Black and Gold as he enters his first season as the assistant men’s soccer coach.

In his three seasons anchoring the ODU defense, Mueller was also able to make an impact on the front line, scoring six goals in his Panthers career. His overall play helped him achieve a bevy of post-season awards following his senior year, as he was named the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Year, NSCAA/Performance Subaru Men's NCAA Division II All-Midwest Region First Team and First Team-All OCSA Division II/NAIA. Mueller was also named to the GLIAC All-Academic and OSCA First Team Academic All-Ohio squad after achieving a 3.53 GPA in business administration. He also earned A.I.I. First Team All-Conference honors as a junior.

A Columbus native, Mueller attended Dublin Jerome High School before attending Marshall University and ultimately coming home to join the Panthers. Mueller will graduate with a Business Administration degree in December 2011 and is currently working towards his MBA with planned graduation in December 2012.
