FULL ALL-CONFERENCE AWARDS LIST

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following a regular season that culminated with 32 wins overall and 18 Great Midwest Athletic Conference victories, six student-athletes on Ohio Dominican's softball team were named to All-Great Midwest teams, while junior pitcher Abby Lamping (Cleves, Ohio) was also named pitcher of the year in the conference.

Lamping earned top G-MAC honors at pitcher and was named first team all-conference, while seniors Taylor Kline (Bellville, Ohio) and Liz Sutter (Mansfield, Ohio) and sophomores Taylor Farmer (Mt. Blanchard, Ohio) and Cameron Barber (Powell, Ohio) garnered second team honors. Additionally, freshman Kristen Bales (Pickerington, Ohio) picked up all-conference honorable mention designation.

With a 2.13 ERA, 14 wins and 16 complete games, Lamping earned the top distinction in the conference in the circle. During the Panthers' NCAA Division II-long 19-game win streak between March 31 and April 22, Lamping went 11-0 and picked up two conference pitcher of the week awards during the stretch, allowing just 10 earned runs in 59.0 innings pitched.

Kline leads the Great Midwest in triples (10) and stolen bases (38) while batting a team-high .374 during the regular season, also recording five doubles and 20 RBIs, which garnered second team all-conference honors at shortstop. ODU also took home second team honors on the other side of the middle infield, as Sutter was named to the all-conference second team at second base. Sutter boasts a .371 batting average, 56 hits, 14 RBIs and 14 stolen bases.

Barber earned second team distinction at designated player after leading the G-MAC in home runs (eight) and ranking third in the conference in slugging percentage (.648), sixth in RBIs (32), seventh in doubles (10) and fifth in walks (16).

At first base, Farmer brought home second team all-conference honors after ranking second in the conference in RBIs (38), second in home runs (seven) and third in sacrifice flies (three). Rounding out the awards for ODU was Bales, who as a freshman, was named honorable mention all-conference in the outfield. She batted .305 in the regular season and 25 RBIs, six triples and six doubles.

The Panthers (32-19, 18-6 G-MAC) look forward to competition in the 2018 G-MAC Tournament, which begins Thursday with a first-round matchup against Davis & Elkins.
