Shannon St. Clair enters her third season as an assistant coach for the Ohio Dominican softball team.
With her wealth of experience and knowledge, St. Clair oversees the outfielders and assists with the Panthers offense. After finishing her stellar collegiate career at the University of Dayton, St. Clair began her coaching career at Cleveland State University as an assistant in 2006. She then went on to serve as an assistant for three seasons at Binghamton University in New York.
A local product from Columbus, St. Clair is a graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School. She was a four-year letterwinner on the Stallions softball team and later went on to be a mainstay in the UD infield from 2001-05. The left-handed hitting shortstop set the Flyers’ single season record for walks with 30 in 2004 and still holds the career record for total walks with 110. St. Clair also ranks fourth in career runs scored and triples, fifth in on-base percentage, seventh in doubles and homeruns, and eighth in slugging percentage.
St. Clair graduated in 2005 from UD with a degree in Sport Management and minor in public relations.
