COLUMBUS, Ohio — Members of Ohio Dominican's track & field team will compete at Grand Valley State University on Saturday in the GVSU Big Meet.
Field events will begin at 9 a.m., with track events starting at 10 a.m. in the Kelly Family Sports Center.
ODU student-athletes will compete in 11 events at the meet and are coming off five, first-place finishes this past Saturday at the Joe Banks Invitational. Megan Tamasovich (Canal Winchester, Ohio) continued to top her own school record in the women's high jump, taking first place out of 12 competitors with a mark of 1.64 meters. Tamasovich has topped her previous mark in the high jump on four occasions this indoor season and has finished in first place in the event at two-straight meets. Justin Carroll (Berea, Ohio), Alex Botello (Hilliard, Ohio), Avery Sumpter (Lima, Ohio) and Amir Metts (Cincinnati, Ohio) also took first place for the men's squad in their respective events.
Live video and stats are available for the GVSU Big Meet. ODU will compete next weekend at the Buckeye Tune Up and Rick Meindl Last Call Meet before preparing for the Great Midwest Indoor Championships on Friday, February 23 and Saturday, February 24.
