HILLSDALE, Mich. — Ohio Dominican's track & field team saw Megan Tamasovich (Canal Winchester, Ohio) and the men's 4x400 meter relay team of Draven Bass (Circleville, Ohio), Avery Sumpter (Lima, Ohio), Bobby Bogantz (Sunbury, Ohio) and Justin Carroll (Berea, Ohio) notch podium finishes on the final day of the 2018 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Indoor Championships at Hillsdale College on Saturday.
Tamasovich finished in second place in the women's high jump with a school record and NCAA Division II provisional mark of 1.67 meters. It's the ninth top five finish of the 2017-18 indoor season for Tamasovich.
Also earning a podium finish was the men's 4x400 meter relay team of Bass, Sumpter, Bogantz and Carroll, which finished third in a time of 3:24.83. It marked the second-fastest 4x400 time of the season for ODU.
Avery Sumpter (Lima, Ohio) finished sixth in the men's 60 meter dash with a sprint of 7.06, matching the third-fastest sprint of the season for Ohio Dominican.
Finishing fifth in the men's 200 meter finals was Bass, who crossed the finish line in 22.54 to finish with the second-fastest 200 time of the year for ODU.
Chad Ellis (Brook Park, Ohio) took 11th out of 27 competitors in the men's mile, finishing in 4:28.95, the fastest Panther men's mile time of the season.
Isaiah Smith (Logan, Ohio) notched a top 10 finish in the men's high jump, taking seventh with a mark of 1.84 meters.
Alex Botello (Hilliard, Ohio) earned a season-best mark of 4.12 meters in the men's pole vault to earn sixth place and three points for the Panthers.
Overall, the Panther men finished seventh out of 11 with 22 points, while the women's squad took 10th with nine points.
