Carroll, Bass Pick Up USTFCCCA All-Region Nods

NEW ORLEANS – Senior Justin Carroll (Berea, Ohio) and sophomore Draven Bass (Circleville, Ohio) were recognized by the USTFCCCA on the organization's All-Midwest Region team.

Carroll picked up the recognition for his effort in the 800 meters, while Bass is honored for his work in the 400 meter hurdles.

Carroll currently holds the 17th best time in the nation in the 800 meters with his mark of 1:50.24 on May 5, which is also a school and G-MAC record as he won the conference crown in that event. His mark is the second-best in the Midwest Region this spring.

Bass, meanwhile, also took first in the 400 meter hurdles at the G-MAC championship with an NCAA provisional mark of 52.96. His time is tied for the fourth-best mark in the region.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region distinction.
