Women's Golf Places Seventh at Bulldog Invite

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Ohio Dominican women's golf team finished seventh at the Ferris State Bulldog Invitational with a team score of 663 (323-340).

Grand Valley took home the team honors with a score of 607 (303-304) and the Laker's Kelly Hartigan took home medalist honors.

Rounding out the top-five were host Ferris State (617) in second, Ashland in third (624), fourth place Findlay (627) and fifth place Northwood (648).

Sophomore Jamie Ellison (Mason, Ohio) paced the Panthers with a 12th place finish after shooting a 156 (72-84). Senior Ashley Swartz (Lima, Ohio) finished in a tie for 32nd after shooting a 167 (84-83).

Freshman Jamie Witt (Miamisburg, Ohio) carded a 169 (82-87) while junior Lauren Kyre (Pickerington, Ohio) shot a 173 (85-88).

Rounding out the team scoring was junior Danielle Misencik (Concord, Ohio) with a 174 (88-86).

Competing as an individual, freshman Erin Smiddy (Liberty Township, Ohio) finished with a 198 (104-94).

Ohio Dominican will conclude the fall season at the William "Bing" Beall Fall Classic, hosted by Findlay University.
