Ruchika Alahakoon enters her first season with the women’s tennis team as the program’s volunteer assistant coach.

Alahakoon, a Colombo, Sri Lanka native, was a four year letter winner at Ohio Dominican (2011). She was named a 2009 Champions of Character winner, helping ODU reach the NAIA National Championships for the first time in school history in 2008 and again in 2009. Alahakoon was also named Ohio Dominican Women's Senior Athlete of the Year in 2011.
