COLUMBUS Ohio- The Ohio Dominican Cross Country team will be competing in the G-MAC championship this Saturday, October 3rd. The event will be hosted by Walsh, and will be held at GlenOak High School in Canton Ohio.
The competition schedule is as follows:
Womens 6k 11:00 (14 teams)
Men 8k 12:00 (13 teams)
The starting line will be near the church adjacent to the tennis courts just off of Easton Road with the finish line right at the 50-yard line of Glen Oak's football stadium
Senior Kristen Noecker (Circleville, Ohio) looks to lead the women's team with another strong performance in the upcoming race after finishing with a career best time of 21:07.4 in the JennaStrong Fall Classic. Freshman Ashley Wihl (Williamsport, Ohio) also looks for continued improvement after finishing with a 21:12.8 in the same race.
Fellow freshman Addy Miller-Brown (Marysville, Ohio) will be looking to improve upon a season best time of 22.10.0 in the previous race, while sophomores Zoie Fisher (West Jefferson, Ohio) (24:42.8 in the previous race) and Kylee Risinger-O'Malley (Grove City) (24:49.4 in the previous race) will both be looking for strong performances.
On the men's side, senior Alejandro Serna (Duncanville, Texas) looks to lead the Panther men after finishing 39th overall with a time of 26:17.1 in the previous race, while sophomore Keaton McNair (Pickerington, Ohio) (28:47.7 in the previous race) and senior Bobby Bogantz (Sunbury, Ohio) (29:22.7 in the previous race) both look to contribute strong performances.
Rounding out the men are freshmen Sean Noll (Sheridan, Ohio) who finished with a time of 29:29.9 in his previous outing and Ethan Sinning (Tipp City, Ohio) who finished with a time of 29:31.7 at the JennaStrong Fall Invitational.
