Cross Country Set to Race at National Catholic Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's cross country team are set to compete in the National Catholic Invitational at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.

The race will be held at the Burke Golf Course with the men's and women's open divisions racing the 5K at 3:30 p.m. The women's championship race is set for 4:15 while the men begin at 5 p.m. The awards ceremony will follow at 6 p.m.

Two weeks ago at the Tommy Evans Invitational, the Panther men were led by Caleb Belmont (Carroll, Ohio) who finished with a time of 21:15.4 while junior Keaton McNair (Pickerington, Ohio) finished in a time of 21:58.6.

On the women's side, freshmen Paige Boehringer (Covington, Ohio) and Haleigh Spencer (Hilliard, Ohio) led the way for the Panthers with times of 20:53.0 and 21:02.3, respectively.

The field will see 23 teams this week as all teams in the field have a catholic orientation with their university.
