Baseball Suffers Setback at Grand Valley

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Ohio Dominican's baseball team was held to four hits in suffering a 10-0 setback to No. 17 Grand Valley State on Saturday in GLIAC play at Eastern Michigan's Oestrike Stadium.

The Lakers scored three runs in each of the fourth, fifth and sixth innings and finished with 15 hits in the game.

Seniors Anthony Raschilla (Girard, Ohio), Bryan Rudolph (Pickerington, Ohio) and Drew Ryan (Newark, Ohio) and junior Kyle Sumisnki (Fraser, Mich.) each had a hit for the Panthers, who fell to 15-11 (5-6 GLIAC). Grand Valley improved to 17-7 (8-2 GLIAC).

The two teams will conclude their three-game series with a doubleheader starting at noon on Sunday.
