UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Ohio Dominican's men's basketball team had no answer for a high-octane Saginaw Valley offensive attack as the Panthers fell 102-64 to the Cardinals Saturday in GLIAC play.
The 102 points allowed were the most by the Panthers since ODU fell 120-114 to Malone on Dec. 18, 2004.
SVSU scored the game's first six points as part of a 16-4 run to start the game and led by double figures the rest of the way. The Cardinals shot 65.1 percent (41-of-63) and were led by 35 points off the bench by Eli Redman, and SVSU also outrebounded ODU 41-22.
ODU fell to 3-16 (0-13 GLIAC), while SVSU improved to 10-9 (6-6 GLIAC).
The Panthers return home to face Ashland at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Alumni Hall.
