COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's basketball team heads into Great Midwest Athletic Conference play as they travel to Canton, Ohio to take on Walsh and Malone.
The matchup with the Cavaliers is set for Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. while the contest with the Pioneers is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday.

The Panthers come into the week with a 4-2 record after splitting a pair of games at the Thanksgiving Classic hosted by Hillsdale.
The Panthers dropped an 89-74 game with Northern Michigan on Tuesday before bouncing back to defeat Wisconsin-Parkside 84-69 on Wednesday.
In the contest with NMU, sophomore guard Tahj Curry (Fort Wayne, Indiana) posted 19 points and five rebounds while junior Sam Hickey (Toledo, Ohio) had 12 points and senior Michael Simon (Hilliard, Ohio) came off the bench to have 12.
In the win over UW-Parkside, the Panthers had four plays in double-figures as Hickey led the way with 20 points. Curry posted 18 with 12 in the second half while Simon and junior Michael Scott (Hebron, Kentucky) each had 16.
Through the first six games of the year, ODU is shooting 47.5% from the floor and 37.7% from behind the arc en route to scoring 80.3 points per game. The Panthers are also outrebounding their opponents by four per game while dishing out 14.8 assists.
Defensively, the Panthers are allowing 72.0 points per game on 45.1% shooting and 36.8% from three.
The Cavaliers come into the week with a 3-3 record after splitting last week as they dropped to Northwood by a score of 88-75 on Wednesday before beating Thiel on Sunday with a score of 102-58.
Walsh has five players averaging double-figures led by Darryl Straughter who is averaging 16.7 points per game while JT Shumate is just behind with 14.8. Sterling Christy and Reece Bogan average 13 and 12 points, respectively while Connor Wess is averaging 10.3.
The Cavaliers are averaging 83.5 points per game while shooting 45.1% from the floor and shooting 31.8 threes per game making 39.8% of them.
Defensively, Walsh is giving up 73.8 points per game, allowing their opponents to shoot 43% from the floor and 44.5% from distance. The Cavaliers are also outrebounding their opponents by 5.9 on average per game.
The Pioneers come into the week with a 4-2 record and host Ohio Valley on Thursday before hosting the Panthers on Saturday.
The Pioneers have won four straight with three coming on their home floor. On Tuesday night, the Pioneers hosted Clarion and won with a final score of 83-68.
Leading the Pioneer offense is Nate Sheppard who is averaging 23.2 points per game which leads the conference.
Also averaging double-figures for Malone is Ben Evans who is averaging 13.8 points per game while Bryce Butler is averaging 12.5 and Daylan Haynie getting 10.5.
Malone is averaging 80.8 points per game while shooting 48.5% from the floor and 38.3% from behind the arc.
Defensively, the Pioneers are giving up 67.8 points per game while their opponents shoot just 41.5% from the floor.
