WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's track and field teams competed in the April Fools Invitational on Saturday on the campus of Otterbein University.
Senior Clayton Seymour (Ashville, Ohio) led the way for the Panthers with a first place finish in the discus throwing it 46.82 meters and later in the day having a fourth place finish in the shot put with a distance of 14.30 meters.
Three other individuals finished with sixth place finishes on the men's side. In the high jump junior Isaiah Smith (Logan, Ohio) cleared the 1.80 meter mark. On the track, Cam Brandon (Cleveland, Ohio) finished sixth in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.65 and Lance Warren (Memphis, Tennessee) finished the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.60.
Sophomore Omar Jalloh (Pataskala, Ohio), freshman Adam Kamel (Brook Park, Ohio) Smith, and Bobby Bogantz (Sunbury, Ohio) teamed up to have a fourth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay as they crossed the line with a time of 3:36.22.
On the women's side, junior Shaunqueza Stevens (Dublin, Ohio) led the way with a fourth place finish in the 100 meter dash as she finished with a time of 12.80.
In field events, junior Megan Tamasovich (Canal Winchester, Ohio) finished in fifth in the high jump clearing the 1.59 meter mark while fellow classmate Emma Barth (Dayton, Ohio) finished sixth in the hammer throw with a distance of 38.61 meters.
The track and field teams are back in action on Saturday, April 6 at the Tiffleberg Open on the campus of Tiffin University.
